At Thurman’s Place we offer training and boarding for your canine family members. They will join our pack and explore fun activities along with their training.
Most of our clientele comes from the Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin areas. We offer a convenient and safe transportation service that picks up your dog and brings them home!
After training, you and your dog are officially part of the Thurman’s Place family. We are ALWAYS here for you. If you have questions or need advice, you can reach out anytime. We also host monthly Pack Hikes where family members can connect with others familiar with our training style while the dogs play and have fun.
All boarding dogs are trained here, so they know what to expect during their stay. We maintain the same balanced, structured schedule you and your pup are used to, including structured walks, pack hikes, and place time. It’s a calm, stress-free boarding experience for both you and your dog.

For Puppies Ages 8–20 Weeks —$2,800
Get your puppy off on the right paw.
The best time to shape a dog's behavior is before bad habits have a chance to form. Just as children attend kindergarten to learn the foundational expectations of their world (sharing, listening, following directions) puppies between 8 and 20 weeks are in a critical developmental window where everything they encounter is brand new. The habits, routines, and social skills established now will benefit your dog for the rest of their life.
Your puppy will live on our farm for 2 weeks as part of our pack, receiving structured guidance, socialization, and environmental exposure during the most impressionable stage of their development.
Note: Undervaccinated puppies have their own dedicated potty and play area to keep them safe.
What Your Puppy Will Be Introduced To:
Crate training
Basic obedience foundations
Socialization with people, animals, and environments
Environmental stimulation — new places, sounds, smells, and experiences
Beginning potty training routine
What's Included:
Initial consultation at pickup from your home
Photo and video updates throughout the program
1-hour go-home session at our facility or at your home (within 50-mile radius)

Van Shuttle Service $25 per dog, each way | Within 50 miles of zip code 37098
We offer convenient door-to-door pickup and drop-off so your dog's stay is seamless from start to finish.
How It Works:
We serve locations within a 50-mile radius of zip code 37098
We'll reach out the evening before your scheduled pickup or drop-off with an estimated timeframe
Pickups and drop-offs typically occur between 8:00am and 11:30am — during peak seasons, times may extend into the afternoon
